Liam Hearne is a Chartered Civil/Structural Engineer with over ten years experience as a Site Engineer, Design Engineer and Project Engineer on the planning, design and implementation of Civil and Structural Engineering projects.
He has worked as Project Engineer on the design of large new hotel developments such as Pembroke Hotel and Days Hotel in Kilkenny; multi-storey office blocks such as Shannon Air Traffic Control Centre and Kilkenny Courthouse; apartment blocks; cinemas such as Dungarvan SGC Cinema; hospitals such as Cashel hospital and Dungarvan Hospital; major industrial developments such as Leggetsrath Agricultural Business Centre and Danville Business Park, Kilkenny; car showrooms such as Sheridan Motors, Waterford; multi-storey car parks such as Thomas Street Car Park, Limerick.
He worked as Resident Engineer on Swords-Santry Quality Bus Corridor, Dublin, for a period of 13 months in 2000-2001.
He has experience with refurbishment and conservation of old buildings and also on the engineering design of Passive Buildings.
He is computer literate with knowledge of a number of engineering software packages.
