Sean is a Chartered Civil Engineer and a Registered Consulting Chartered Engineer and a Member of the Association of Consulting Engineers of Ireland, with over thirty years experience in the planning, design and construction of urban and rural infrastructure encompassing; transportation, water supply, sanitation, irrigation, institutional and commercial buildings in some seventeen (17) countries. He has been a Project Manager/Team Leader responsible for the design, contract administration and supervision of construction of major water & sanitation and road projects in an international environment. He has been responsible for Preparation of pre-investment, feasibility studies and master plans for urban and rural infrastructure.
He has extensive practical knowledge of the application and administration of national and international (UK, IRL, FIDIC, EDF, etc.) conditions of contract, specifications (ISO, BS, UNI, SAZS, SABS, SATCC) and methods of measurement (CESMM etc.). He is fully familiar with the procedures and requirements of international financing institutions (WB, EU, AfDB, KfW, GTZ, DCI, etc.).
Having spent over 23 years in different overseas locations he is well versed in working in diverse locations, conditions and cultures.
