Thomas Garland & Partners is one of Ireland's longest established firms of civil and structural engineering consultants. We're widely known for our distinguished portfolio and international expertise. And we wouldn't have come this far without a genuine commitment to research, which enables us to attract some of the country's finest engineers.

Our History

Founded by the late Thomas Garland in 1937, Thomas Garland & Partners was right on the cusp of Ireland's industrialisation - a growth spurt that would last for 50 years. By the mid 80s, the public sector was cutting capital expenditure and the Group was compelled to diversify. Our second company Garland Ormond International was the result, and its international work proved extremely successful. In the following twenty years the Group continued to grow and diversify, adding Project Management (2003) and Health & Safety (2006) divisions to its offering. We now have offices in Dublin, Limerick, and Waterford and an affiliate office in Warsaw, Poland.

The group experience in other areas such as Safety Management, Project Management and Economic Development complements our unique and personalised approach to your project and multi-facet experience helps us to identify solutions created in other industries or types of development, which when applied, may lead to the optimum solution for your project.

From Contemporary Offices to Historical Refurbishment
